Dive Report 08/10/10

What a great weekend of Diving!
We started the weekend off with two excellent wreck dives on the Navy Tug (89' max by 99' long) 60' of viz and 80+ degree water welcomed the divers as the punched through the thermocline. Amberjacks and all other species greeted the explorers as they took in the view of our favorite wreck.

Beach diving has been out of this world for the past two weeks. The pass has had 15' to 20' of viz and the Whiskey Wreck had 30'+ viz last Saturday. Minor jellyfish sightings require some type of rashgaurd or skin. The staff finds it best to go 1-2hrs before high tide. Otherwise viz can be 0-5'.

Stop by Down Under for a local orientation.
