    News from Down Under

    Dive Report:

Once the angry sea gods stopped throwing rain and lightning at us the Gulf offered up some more great diving.
With all the snapper fishermen out and about our dive sites have been limited.  We've enjoyed some pretty killer viz on Navy Tug (80'+), Rome (60'-70'), Pete's 301 (named after our master diver Pete's 301st dive (40'-50'), Nu' Barge (60'), and 151' Tug (60'-80')  We are starting to see lots of loggerhead sea turtles on the surface and not hardly does a day go by where dolphins haven't chased the Down Under out to sea.

Our Divemasters are doing what they can to keep the lionfish at bay.  Killing up to ten a day.

Why not extend your diving time with Enriched Air Nitrox!

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.
You can typically stay down longer and get back the water sooner. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty.
    What You Learn:
    - Techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox.
    - Enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations.
    - Enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what’s in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer.
    Schedule:
Day 1. Complete eLearning or Crew Pack and DVD
Day 2. Knowledge Review, Practical, Optional Dives
$205 includes elearning pass and two nitrox fills.
